Ok, so we have been majorly behind on blogging (but who isn’t these days?). Anyway, here we are! Today we’d like to share with you Erin and Shaun’s “Anthropologie inspired” wedding at the beautiful Hatley Castle in Victoria, BC, which took place on September 18, 2011.

Erin came to us after being a bridesmaid at a wedding we coordinated in 2009. She immediately had an amazing vision for her wedding day – Anthropologie, vintage, whimsical, elegant. We started brainstorming unique decor ideas – this bride was seriously creative. Framed chalkboards, special photos in vintage frames, a variety of lovely teacups and glassware to hold flowers – sounds amazing, right? It was!

We were all hoping and praying for the weather to hold up for their outdoor ceremony – and it did. Erin and Shaun tied the knot on the lawn at Hatley Castle, with a fab reception up on the terrace.

As the sunshine comes to a startling end, we have to say, what an amazing summer season we had. Vibrant couples, awesome vendors, new friends and just all-around fabulous weddings!

We’ve been working on a newer, prettier, more user-friendly website and we are so pleased to be able to finally show it off! Thank you for checking it out. We recently had the pleasure of having Bethany Schiedel of Images by Bethany take some photos of us for our website. She discovered an awesome little spot in Gastown and made us look fabulous! Bethany is one of our favourite Vancouver wedding photographers – we love her ability to incorporate a very photojournalistic feel to her images – we challenge you to view her site and not be moved in some way by her photos.

She is currently booking up for 2011, with packages starting at $3400.

We had so much fun at our mini photoshoot, we wanted to share some of our favourite images!

On one of the last beautiful days of summer, May and Robert were married at the stunning St. Augustine’s Church in Kitsilano. The ceremony was beautiful, with the subtle scent of lilies floating through the air from the flower arrangements at the altar.

After the ceremony, guests arrived at the Law Courts Inn Restaurant. We hate to admit it, but we had never heard of this venue before – but with floor to ceiling windows, sweeping views of the city and a chic terrace, we were pleasantly surprised.
